Skinflexion sets out to remove the guesswork when it comes to choosing product ranges that deliver on their promise to resolve specific skin, hair and health concerns.
After spending over a decade servicing and supporting beauty business owners in Business Development and Sales Management roles, Danielle identified many pain-points her clients, and their clients, faced day-to-day in the beauty industry. Seeing first-hand that something BIG (ahem, complete transparency) was missing for her clients, Danielle decided it was time for change. Embarking on a mission to resolve the issues, to address the pain-points for clinic owners, their team and their community alike, Skinflexion was created to offer the solution. Endeavouring to deliver a completely truthful and transparent shopping and beauty experience through clinically-proven, multi-functional, pre-vetted product ranges that actually work together with an unmatched approach to customer care and support.
Looking back now, Danielle sees that her journey to start Skinflexion began during her early teen years, faced with the challenge of severe teenage acne and being further hindered by the lack of ‘real’ fixes available. For this reason, the same reason which many beauty therapists can relate, Danielle enrolled in beauty school in the hope that she would one day learn how to put an end to life- changing skin conditions such as acne.
After often hearing ‘beauty takes pain’ from her mother, Danielle hatched a vision to use her skills and knowledge to curate and pre-vet non-invasive, good-for-you and good-for-our-planet product ranges that produce ‘real’, rapid and long-lasting results. years later on a beautiful summery evening spent in the spa pool laughing, having fun (and seeing themselves in the waters reFLEXION), ‘Skinflexion’ was born! In a swift moment, backed by her husband Hein and their two children Zoey and Marcus, the business name was thought up and registered, and Danielle’s passion to create change and push the boundaries for a better beauty industry was reignited and turned into reality.
